On the orig­i­nal screen the slow fade (basi­cally an ana­log ver­sion of ‘ghost­ing’) leaves a lit­tle trail behind each shot, which being so smooth actu­ally looks bet­ter than any sim­u­lated trail you could pro­gram until some time later.
