Bright Star: Samsung’s Galaxy Spica i5700 sports Android as its OS. Spica is the brightest star in the constellation Virgo. In the night-time sky, Spica, a blue giant, is the 15th brightest star (Source: Wikipedia). Interestingly the Spica from Samsung doesn’t come in blue. The i5700 is just 13.2-mm thick, sports a 3.5-mm jack with built-in DivX and Xvid support. The application processor runs at 800Mhz and features 128MB of internal memory. There is a 3.2 megapixel camera, a microSD slot (up to 32GB is supported).

AMOLED: The AMOLED screenis 3.2 inches and sports a capacitive touch technology with a resolution of 480 x 320 in landscape mode. Thanks to AMOLED technology, the Spica i5700′s display will undoubtedly be richly saturated with really black blacks and 16 million colors. The battery is rated at 1500mAh. The i5700 is already available in Europe and will debut in the Middle East and Asia soon. Price? Around €320.
