“The OLED screens on show in Berlin will include not only experimental models, but the industry’s first mass-produced models,” said IFA 2009 organizers. Industry sources believe that the company will be Sony that will announce larger commercial OLED TVs at IFA 2009.
There is just one OLED TV model commercially available today. And that’s Sony’s 11″ XEL-1 (pictured to the left). Note that IFA 2009 organizers mentioned ‘models’ as in plural, as in more than one. So that might suggest that Sony might be preparing a larger-than-11″ OLED TV.
