Original Post 2009.03.11 10:35AM PST: A tip­ster took some pic­tures of what looks like Lenovo‘s ThinkPad Reserve Edition from a show­room inside a Lenovo office and sent it over to Engadget. The ThinkPad Reserve Edition was a limited-run note­book PC that was basi­cally a X61 in leather. This new pic­ture shows another iter­a­tion of what looks like a Reserve Edition due to the same col­ored leather casing.

From the pic­ture the dis­plays seems to be ultra­w­ide (around 2:1 or even wider) sim­i­lar to what is on Sony’s VAIO P. As you may already know the VAIO P has an 8″ TFT LCD with a 1600 x 768 pixel for­mat. I won­der what the lit­tle cyan-colored but­ton to the upper-right side of the key­board is…
