Toshiba showcased a prototype 56″ LCD TV that sports a 3840 x 2160 (or Quad Full HD) pixel format. The pixel count is certainly impressive and I am certain that the next evolution in formats will be Quad Full HD. In addition the 56″ monstrous LCD TV features a Cell processor. The company’s Resolution+ technology upconverts 1080p HD video to 3840 x 2160. That should look fantastic!
