
Engadget reviewed the BlackBerry Storm. Here is a very short summary of a very lengthy (but thorough) review:
- Industrial Design
Pros: Striking. Understated class.
Cons: Backlight leaks. - Touchscreen
Pros: Capacitive, clickable, hoverable.
Cons: No improvement in usage experience. - Software
Pros: Strong feature set. Browser considerably updated.
Cons: Weak third-party software. No Mac syncing out-of-the-box. - Phone / Data
Pros: Excellent sound quality and reception. “Pretty tight” EV-DO download speeds and network stability.
Cons: No WiFi. - Camera / GPS
Pros: Excellent picture quality. Excellent navigation results.
Cons: “Took ages” to focus and actually take a picture. Verizon Navigator. - Wrap-up: Undercooked, needs more time in the oven.
