The SP2309 is the second, that I know of, LCD monitor that will sport what is dubbed a QWXGA LCD panel. Don’t mind the weird Q-whatever, just know that it has a pixel format of 2048 x 1152. This is perfect for having dual windows of 1024 x 1152 each. That makes it perfect for having two Internet browser windows. Working on other documents will benefit too from the slightly wider windows. The SP2309 follows the Samsung 2342BWX that sports the same pixel format. I would also be very surprised if Dell’s SP2309 doesn’t have the same LCD panel that the 2342BWX does. I do hope that the SP2309 has height adjustment. If so I will need to save up money to replace my 24″ LCD monitors that, while good, is not so good when having two browser windows side by side.
