Hitachi Wooo UT47-XP770: 47

Hitachi’s Wooo UT47-XP770 has a funky name. Wooo? Huh? I thought Mazda’s Zoom-Zoom was weird. Aside from the name, the UT47-XP770 LCD TV is pretty standard. The 47″ LCD TV sports a pixel format of 1920 x 1080 with a brightness of 500 cd/m2. All pretty standard. Similar to what LG has done with some of its LCD TVs, Hitachi is incorporating a hard disk (250GB) into its UT47-XP770 line for DVR duties. I can’t quite make out all the rest of the specifications as they are written in Japanese. I’m not sure if the UT47-XP770 has 120Hz, motion interpolation, dynamic contrast capability, etc. The UT47-XV700 is the same as the UT47-XP770 but without a hard drive. Anyone with English specifications, please let me know. You can email me at jin@displayblog.com or post a comment. Thanks!
