AVING: On April 30, 2008, Samsung Electronics announced the world’s first slider phone capable of DVB-H mobile TV, the P960. The P960 is also the world’s first DVB-H mobile TV phone that supports both Digital Video Broadcast (DVB) and Open Mobile Alliance Mobile Broadcast Service Enabler Suite (OMA-BCAST). Electronic Service Guide (ESG) is a feature of the P960 that provides an on-screen TV guide. A nifty Time-Shifting feature allows it to record TV programs when you are interrupted by incoming calls. Could this be the first steps toward a DVR-capable mobile phone?
